Through the North African deserts
Just a few miles across the Straits of Gibraltar, Morocco sits right on Europe's doorstep. However, this short journey disguises a dramatic shift in cultures that can be fully appreciated on our Moroccan Mosaic holiday. We'll visit the great imperial cities of Meknés, Fez and Marrakesh with their labyrinthine old quarters, grand mosques and covered bazaars. However the Moroccan countryside also merits much further exploration and walks in the Middle and High Atlas add a new dimension to this holiday. Walks through lush valleys, rich plantations and beneath snow-capped mountains will give you a true insight into rural ways of life. Either enjoy Morocco's many landscapes on a walking and sightseeing tour or on a guided city break to Marrakesh, where your experience leader will introduce you to its fascinating sights and sounds.

On Safari in Kenya
Kenya provides some of the best big game viewing on earth and this is made all the more enjoyable by exploring on foot. In the company of experienced and knowledgeable guides we'll walk beneath Mount Kenya, in the African Rift Valley and in the Masai Mara National Park. With an undisputed range of wildlife, including giraffes, lions, elephants and buffalo, this is a unique and memorable walking experience. This area of kenya also has outstanding opportunities to see the local birdlife. Our special birdwatching departures follow a slightly different itinerary and are accompanied throughout by a knowledgeable guide.

To the roof of Africa
Rising from the plains of Tanzania, Mount Kilimanjaro is the highest peak in Africe. The walk to the 5,895m (19,340ft summit) is both challenging and massively rewarding, yet within range of fit hillwalkers. Our holidays follows the scenic Lemosho route to the summit, ascending steadlily through forests, alpine desert and volcanic plateau. Whatever the challenges, you'll be rewarded with awe-inspiring views and a superb sense of accomplishment.
