On these holidays there is a choice of two guided walks of varying difficulty each day. For maximum choice we offer two weekly itineraries - ideal if you wish to book a 14 night holiday or return to the area for a second week.
ITINERARY ONE
Weeks of: 14, 28 Feb; 14, 28 March; 11 April; 12, 26 Sept; 10 Oct
Day 1: arrival day |

Day 2: admire the profusion of wild hyacinths on coastal walks from the fishing village of Praia da Luz.
Day 3: explore Silves' Moorish fortress before walking through the almond groves north of the town.
Day 4: sample the untamed beauty of the Atlantic coast and visit spectacular beaches like the Praia do Amado, the Lover's Beach.
Day 5: free day - visit the historic Cape St Vincent and perhaps take a dolphin watching trip from the tiny port of Baleeira.
Day 6: soak up the extensive views from the summit of Foia before walking through olive and lemon groves to Caldas de Monchique.
Day 7: enjoy the Algarve's stunning red cliffs and golden sands on walks from pretty Carvoeiro.
Day 8: departure day.
ITINERARY TWO
Weeks of: 21 Feb; 7, 21 March; 4, 18 April; 19 Sept; 3, 17 Oct
Day 1: arrival day.
Day 2: admire the panoramic views on walks to the dramatic stacks of Ponta da Piedade and the old harbour town of Lagos.
Day 3: explore the wildlife rich valleys of the interior near the scenic reservoir at Bensafrim.
Day 4: enjoy a trip to the wild Atlantic coast and the beautiful cliffs and countryside of the Vale da Telha.
Day 5: free day - perhaps travel to the old town of Faro or just relax in a bar on the superb beach at Praia da Luz.
Day 6: head inland to discover the peaceful countryside around Silves on walks through traditional farms and villages.
Day 7: follow the ochre and cream cliffs past rock arches and sea stacks along the coast from Sagres.

Each year we listen carefully to the views of our guests and make improvements to our walking programmes. Further information will be sent to you prior to your holiday; however the final selection of walks will be made by your walking leaders.

Your leaders will carry a number of maps and guides for this
holiday. If you would like to obtain one for your own enjoyment

Both walks cross gently undulating landscapes with occasional short but steep ascents on the coastal paths.
