Freedom Breaks

Stay in one of our beautiful Country Houses and choose your own itinerary. We’ll help with maps, routes and transport ideas, all provided in a handy guide. We know the best walks, and the best places to visit.

You choose what you do and when you want to do it. A Freedom break is ideal for combining self-guided walks with other activities such as climbing, watersports or mountain biking, or simply relaxing and enjoying the stunning countryside surrounding our Country Houses. We can help you identify local providers of bike hire, give you suggestions on where to walk and what attractions and activities are worth seeing and doing. It’s all so easy, you’ll wonder why you haven’t tried it before.

You’ll stay in an HF Holidays’ Country House, renowned for its warm welcome and specially adapted for the needs of the outdoor enthusiast. On your Full-Board break we’ll start you off with a great range of breakfast options, you can choose the things to go in your picnic lunch and in the evening you can sit down to a tasty table d’hôte dinner.

Our Freedom Breaks Plus guide to the Isle of Wight is packed with activity ideas. This is perfect for families with young children or for the independent family who want to explore the area and also enjoy our sociable country house experience.
