Cycling holidays in Europe

We offer a fantastic choice of cycling holidays in a variety of different countries in Europe, and your group can choose whether to take a guided or an independent cycling holiday, with the option of following a trail or a single centre holiday based in one place.

Our cycling holidays range from a guided short break visiting the tulip fields in Holland to longer 7-night independent tours following the river Danube from Germany into Vienna, to more challenging cycling in the Dordogne in France or Umbria in Italy. Whatever your requirements, we have something to suit you and your interests.

We work with well-established local agents abroad to ensure that you are well looked after on your holiday. Our expertise together with their local knowledge is a combination that your group can rely on.

25 miles
Pick up your bicycle this morning and begin your tour across the plains to the town of Marostica, with its lovely castle and Chess Square. Continuing to reach the charming town of Bassano del Grappa, make sure you take time to visit the Poli Grappa Museum there!

DAY 3: Bassano del Grappa to Treviso.
36 miles
Today is a little hillier as you cycle amidst the Prosecco vineyards and visit Villa Barbaro - a famous Palladio villa. You can stop along the route to try a glass of Prosecco, or wait until you arrive in Treviso where you can explore its tiny streets and follow the canals that crisscross the city.

DAY 4: Treviso to Mestre/ Venice.
24 miles
Following the old waterway from Treviso you cycle through beautiful green countryside, and soon arrive in Mestre. From here catch a train into beautiful Venice and take time to explore this fascinating city.

DAY 5: Venice to Chioggia.
19 miles
From Venice catch a ferry to the narrow island of the Lido and cycle along the seashore to then take another ferry to Pellestrina island. A motorboat then transfers you to Chioggia - a miniature Venice filled with cobbled stoned streets, canals and a well-known fish market.

DAY 6: Chioggia to Padua.

A lovely day today cycling along ancient navigable canals, you soon arrive at the beginning of the Riviera del Brenta which is famous for the beautiful Villa Pisani with its maze and gardens. You arrive in the lovely city of Padua, known for its university.

30 miles
This morning you have time to visit the beautiful Scrovegni Chapel before leaving Padua and then cycling to the foot of the Berici Hills and onto the Stone Caves of Costozza. Stop for a drink in the ice cave of Villa da Schio before continuing onwards to Vicenza.
