Guided & Self-Guided Trail Holidays
Our popular guided & self-guided Trail holidays offer your group the chance to walk some of the finest national trails and long distance footpaths. You will stop in a different place along the routes and have your luggage transferred between each overnight base.
On all guided tours an experienced HF Holidays' walking Leader will guide your group along the trail to your next hotel in time for a relaxed dinner. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly.
On all self-guided tours your group will receive a comprehensive Information Pack which includes the best available maps, walking route notes, detailed information about local attractions, shops and restaurants, and plenty to ensure a safe and enjoyable holiday.

Example itinerary - West Highland Way Day 1. Arrival day.
Day 2 . Through gentle countryside from Milngavie to Drymen.
Day 3 . Admire the fine views of the Highlands as we head for Rowardennan on the
shores of Loch Lomond.
Day 4 . A beautiful walk along the shores of Loch Lomond
to Ardlui.
Day 5. On to Crianlarich and Tyndrum.
Day 6 . Follow the tracks of General
Wade's military road, built to quell the Jacobite rebellions, to Inveroran.
Day 7. Walk through the wild open country of Rannoch Moor to the Kingshouse,
Scotland's oldest licensed inn.
Day 8. Ascend the slopes of Glen Coe on the
'Devil’s Staircase', at 1,850ft the highest point of the West Highland Way, and
on to Kinlochleven.
Day 9. Surrounded by magnificent mountain scenery, we take
our final steps along Glen Nevis to Fort William.
Day 10. Departure day.
